Access to transformative travel experiences is not equal. Cost, opportunity, and support systems often determine who gets to explore the world and who does not.
Yet global exposure builds skills that last a lifetime, including cultural awareness, adaptability, leadership, and empathy.
Avandra Foundation was created to remove financial barriers while preserving rigor and responsibility. Participation is earned through commitment to service and readiness to grow.

Small, mentored travel cohorts
120+ hours of documented local volunteer service prior to departure
Pre-departure cultural preparation sessions

Mentorship & Safety
Safety, preparation, and structured oversight are foundational to every Impact Journey. Each cohort travels alongside experienced mentors who guide, support, and model responsible global engagement. All mentors undergo screening, reference checks, and background verification.

Avandra Foundation is a federally recognized nonprofit organization governed by a board of directors committed to transparency and responsible stewardship. We are dedicated to clear eligibility criteria, houghtful selection processes, responsible use of donor funds, and measurable community impact.
